At MEWS Makes, I love the process and craft of making stuffed animals.  Every element (animal, colors, fabrics) is selected with the recipient in mind.

Home is our sanctuary from the world.  I have struggled with finding the right sizes, colors and patterns for our home, to make it feel like it is truly ours.  So, I make my own pillow covers and curtains, to suit the season, my mood, or that odd-shaped window in the back room.

I often rely on patterns and tips from other creators to inspire or guide my projects.  Whenever possible, I give credit to the original pattern designers for the stuffed animals I make, even if I have modified the original design.​​
